Day-by-Day Itinerary

10 days and 9 nights from Split to Dubrovnik.

Day 1: Arrival in Split

Split old town center, Croatia

Arrival Day

Upon your arrival you will have a private transfer to your hotel in the city. In the late afternoon your guide will meet you at the hotel lobby for a walking tour of Split, Croatia’s second-largest city and one of the Adriatic’s great seaports. The historical monuments, museums and galleries cluster around the old harbour, and Diocletian’s Palace, one of the best-preserved Roman royal residences in the world, sits at the heart of it all.

Guided Day Trip

This morning your guide will meet you for a walking tour of historic Trogir and Salona. Trogir is itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a 13th-century cathedral, the duke’s palace and the town loggia set within its medieval streets. From there, continue on to the ruins of ancient Salona, once the capital of the region. The afternoon is free at your leisure.

Guided Day Trip

A private transfer takes you to Šibenik, one of the most naturally protected harbors on the Adriatic, its streets lined with historic architecture. The Cathedral of St. James, a UNESCO heritage site built from 1431, is a Renaissance-era masterpiece and the city’s defining landmark. Return to Split in the evening for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Wine Tour

Spend the morning taking in the view over Hvar’s yachting harbour at your own leisure. In the afternoon, join a wine tour of Hvar followed by a private dinner in an olive grove, then return to your hotel in Hvar for the evening.

Travel Day

In the afternoon, a ferry transfer with private assistance takes you to the island of Korčula. You will check in for a two-night stay to explore the island: its culture, art and history, its traditional stone masonry and shipbuilding skills, its sword dances, music and writings, and its most famous resident, Marco Polo. Dinner at the hotel restaurant this evening.

Guided Walking Tour

This morning your guide leads a private walking tour of historic Korčula town. The afternoon is free at your leisure to continue exploring on your own. Stay overnight again in Korčula.
