Day 1: Arrival in Zadar
Arrival Day
Arrival and private transfer to the hotel, centrally located near Zadar’s cultural monuments. Zadar is the historic center of Dalmatia and seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese, with a history dating to prehistoric times. See the Sea Organ on the western end of Zadar’s Riva, a set of stairs shaped to make music from the sea, and the Roman Forum, the largest on the eastern Adriatic coast, founded by Emperor Augustus and dated by stone inscriptions to the 3rd century. Many Roman remains were later repurposed into the city’s fortifications. Afternoon walking tour of Zadar with your guide.
Day 2: Krka National Park
Guided Day Trip
Morning at leisure in Zadar. Afternoon private tour of Krka National Park, named for the river it encloses and valued for its preserved ecosystems. Walk the forest path to Skradinski Buk, one of the park’s most striking spots, with a natural pool, waterfalls and cascades: one of the lowest of the park’s three sets of falls. Drive to the nearby village of Plastovo for an exclusive wine-pairing dinner. Return to Zadar in the evening.
Day 3: Zadar, Šibenik, Trogir and Split
Travel Day
Check out and transfer to Split, stopping first in Šibenik for a self-guided stroll and an included lunch on a restaurant terrace. Continue to Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive in Split in the late afternoon and check in, with the evening free at leisure.
Day 4: Split and Vis
Travel Day
Morning private walking tour of Split, Croatia’s second-largest city: Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most impressive Roman monuments, and the Cathedral of St. Domnius, amid the lively bars, restaurants and shops of the old town. Afternoon fast ferry to Vis Island, with luggage assistance, and check in to your island hotel.
Day 5: Vis and Biševo
Private Boat Day
Private motor boat transfer from Vis to Biševo Island, home to the Blue Cave (Modra Špilja) at Balun Cove, one of the most famous landmarks of Vis and reachable only by boat, along with the Green Cave on nearby Ravnik islet. Biševo’s shores, vineyards and pine forests make it a quiet island escape; the best time to visit the Blue Cave is between 9am and 1pm, depending on the season. Return to the hotel.
Day 6: Vis and Hvar
Travel Day
Private motor boat transfer to Hvar, a historic Adriatic town. Check in to the hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure.
Day 7: Hvar
Wine Tour
Morning free to take in the view over the yachting harbour. Afternoon wine tour of Hvar with a private dinner in an olive grove, with views of the UNESCO-listed Stari Grad Plain. Return to the hotel.
Day 8: Hvar and Korčula
Travel Day
Afternoon ferry transfer, with private assistance, to Korčula. Check in for a two-night stay to take in the island’s culture, art and history, its traditional stone-masonry and shipbuilding crafts, sword dances, music and writings, and its most famous resident, Marco Polo. Dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Day 9: Korčula

Private morning walking tour of historic Korčula. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 10: Korčula, Ston and Dubrovnik
Travel Day · Ston
Check out and drive to Dubrovnik, stopping in Mali Ston on the Pelješac peninsula for an oyster-harvesting experience and a traditional lunch of local mussels and shellfish, in one of Croatia’s best wine-producing regions. See the 5 km defensive wall, the second-longest in the world after the Great Wall of China. Continue to Dubrovnik for the overnight.
Day 11: Dubrovnik
Guided Walking Tour
Transfer to Pile Gate to meet your guide for a walking tour: the Rector’s Palace, Dominican Monastery and the city walls. Enter the Old Town through Pile Gate, overlooked by the Minčeta and Bokar forts (Bokar today hosts Dubrovnik Summer Festival performances). See the Franciscan Monastery, walk the Stradun, and visit the City Cathedral, the Church of St. Blaise, the Sponza Palace, the Rector’s Palace, the bell towers and Orlando’s Column. Return to the hotel.
Day 12: Departure from Dubrovnik
